This page explains how to ask Shrijanshil Nepal to delete the personal information we hold about you. It applies to information you gave us through our website and to information we received because you interacted with our official accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads or WhatsApp, which we manage with our registered Meta app "Shrijanshil Nepal".
What we may hold about you
- Your name, email address, phone number and the content of messages you sent through our website forms.
- Comments you left on our Facebook or Instagram posts, and messages you sent to our Facebook Page through Messenger, including your public profile name.
- Your phone number, WhatsApp profile name and the content of messages you exchanged with our WhatsApp Business number.
- Records of notifications you opted in to, such as event confirmations, class reminders or application status updates.
We do not hold your Facebook, Instagram, Threads or WhatsApp password, and we do not receive information about your friends or contacts.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". You can also write to us on Messenger or WhatsApp with the words "delete my data".
- Tell us the name, email address, phone number or social media profile you used when interacting with us, so that we can find your records.
- We will confirm that we received your request within 7 days.
- We will delete the information within 30 days and send you a confirmation when it is done.
Replying STOP to any Messenger or WhatsApp notification from us immediately stops further notifications; you can additionally ask for deletion of the conversation history using the steps above.
What we may keep
We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it, for example donation records for accounting and non-profit reporting in Nepal, and we will tell you if that is the case. Information that Meta itself holds about your activity on its platforms is controlled by Meta; you can remove it through the privacy settings of your Facebook, Instagram, Threads or WhatsApp account.
